Pardy had master classes with world renowned guitarists and composers, including Pepe Romero, David Russel, Alexander Dunn, Jean Pierre Deluze, Oscar Bianchi, Claude Ledoux, and others.īefore moving to Armenia, Pardy’s father’s passion was collecting information from the survivors of the Armenian Genocide who lived in Syria. Recently she had completed her Graduate Certificate program at USC Thornton School of Music, studying classical guitar performance under Bill Kanengiser and Scott Tennant from Los Angeles guitar Quartet, and music composition under Brian Head and Ted Hearne. Pardy has graduated with honors from Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory, studying Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition under Vartan Adjemian, and Master's Degree in Guitar Performance under Hakob Jaghatspanyan.
Pardy recorded her first solo album in 2019, sponsored by Naregatsy Art Institute in Armenia, which includes her original compositions and arrangements in addition of other Armenian arrangements for solo classical guitar.ĭuring the years in Armenia, Pardy had constant collaborations in several art projects with artists, actors and directors from The Art, Theatre & Cinematography Institutes in Yerevan. Such appearances included "AGBU Performing Artists" in Carnegie Hall in The US, Burgos International Music Festival in Spain, "Perform Me" International Music Festival in Georgia, Sochi International Art Festival in Russia, Terteryan International Music Festival in Armenia, and many others. She is a prizewinner at Boston Guitar International Composition Competition, AGBU Sayat Nova International Composition Competition, «Renaissance» International Composition Competition for both vocal and instrumental works, Miguel Liobet International Composition Competition, "Be Heard" competition for creative projects.Īs a composer and guitarist Pardy has participated in several local and international festivals and concerts.
She has received several competition awards, project grants and scholarships. Pardy's compositional vision and emotional approach have received excellent feedback by several musicologists in articles and have been covered by the media. Pardy Minassian (Bardy Minassian) is an Armenian-Syrian classical composer and guitarist, residing in Los Angeles.
